Dual failure of the oil filter housing and oil cooler seals can lead to failure of the N54, N55, N20, and N52 engines. This mainly happens because oil leaks can drip onto the alternator and belt, causing them to slip. When this occurs, the belt can hit the crankshaft pulley and roll into the crankshaft, causing engine damage. Additionally, aging seals can cause oil and antifreeze to mix. The contaminated oil then circulates with the antifreeze in the engine compartment, leading to cooling system malfunctions and engine failure, which can trigger the malfunction light. Moreover, reusing old screws increases the risk of screw breakage and subsequent damage to the engine. As a result, repair shops typically recommend replacing them with new ones. To address these issues, BEVINSEE has introduced an upgraded seal kit that is more durable than the factory seal and has also launched replacement bolts to reduce repair costs.
